I have copied your widget and called it mini digital Alarm Clock. I added code for alarms like in the original digital clock.

Arlo,
Any Chance of allowing us to pick up time zones around the world rather than system time (same as above)
I think world clocks are much better on Digital as they can be 24hr clock day / night it would be nice to tag them with San Francisco / Ney York / London / Tokyo etc....
At present there only seems to be analogue world clocks
Lets get Digital...

The "alarm one-hour DST shift" issue is present in the Digital Clock widget, which is the not-mini version of this widget that comes with the Konfabulator program. What's the fix, Arlo? Also, it would be nice if we could edit the existing alarms to make changes, rather than have to delete and make new.

Arlo
I am running the original Digital Clock 2.0 shipped with Konfabulator and noticed a curious behaviour today. The times of my repeating alarms got shifted by an hour when the clocks went back at the end of daylight savings time. For example I had one alarm at 9am: this is now at 8am.
Has this apparent bug already been dealt with? It will be 6 months before I will be able to try to reproduce the error, or see if it is present in other clocks!

Can you add a "mini Alarm Clock" widget into your mini Widget series? You know, people are always lazy.
Customize alarm sound or start playing iTunes would be cool.
Thanks for saveing the desktop space!

Nice and small... but I wish it had a real alarm feature.

I like this a lot. It matches the calendar very well. A lot of people seem to want the date on here, but I think I'd rather have the time on the calendar! Maybe I would like to see the green and black backgrounds to be toned down a bit (green especially)-- the scan lines are quite bold. The green one looks radioactive.

Hey Arlo, why not update this widget with the Red, Blue & Green Glow's like you have on the large WiFi signal V2 widget that you do (as well as keeping the CRT versions you have aleady) ? Personally I like the Red glow...Ooooo... Blood Red Glow...
Cheers :-)

Love the clock, but I'd love a way to set alarms at a specific time. I.e. at midnight.

I think that it's better than the default anolog clock.

I love your mini collection. Any way you could get the clock to include seconds? Or have an option to include seconds?

You were right Arlo. I turned of the chime and everything's peachy again. I'm using the chime from iPulse anyway, so...

This is actually a bug in the OS that Konfabulator suffers from (and we're trying to figure out a workaround for).
The bug is that when an mp3 plays (using the sound hooks we use), it never finishes, thus taking up CPU time.
I'm sure if you turned the chime on in the other Digital clock you'd see this.

Love the way it looks, but uses from 10 to 15% CPU (not 80% like in DNAhelix's case). Regular Digital Clock is unnoticeable. Why?

I love the way this clock looks and wish I could use it. However, I keep noticing my system was running slower and it turns out the mini Digital Clock is spiking constantly, eating 80% or more of my CPU, so I had to turn it off. Anyone else seeing this?

Very nice but how about this... move the Thu and AM to the left hand side and add the actual day number.
This way you can make it the same horizontal size as the miniCalendar. (So they can be neatly stacked on eon top of the other.

Good one, but a date function would be real cool. And much more better a little popup calendar if you leftclick on the date.

I feel the non-active part of the pseudo LCD display is too dark. It's distracting, especially on the authentic looking one. Maybe half that dark so it is just barely noticeable. It is only old LCD screens that look this way, newer ones don't, and I'm sure this is not supposed to be an antique theme :) Other than this, I like it a lot. A "me too" for having the date in it too though.

Sweet.
One more request. I'd also like to get rid of the menubar clock AND need one more clock for world time. I'd rather not clutter the desktop with different looking clocks.
Arlo, can you augment the (mini) Digital Clock so that it can display any specified time zone? (And, the display of date won't be a bad addition either.)
Thank you.

Re: date/clock combo...
I may diverge from the mini Widget creation next week and release the Dashboard Widget which is a bunch of Widget functionality rolled into one.
It'll be small-ish too.

This rocks, Arlo! One question: can you put the date in any of the digital clock widgets? I'd love to have that there too - then goodbye menu bar clock!

The best clock widget yet... and with 5000 of them here, that's saying a lot.
Seriously, I love it, and the themes are a great addition.
