just upgraded to K2, and this widget bugged. Getting same thing as Tsaxman28, undefined IP and Nan. I went to go change its settings and when I moved a whole lot more text appeared in the top line of the widget.

my netowrk goes:
router>airport base station>me

my brother did redo the abs recently and since then, i have been having a ton of difficulties with the internet. at the time i noticed the "No IP Found" on your widget, i wasn't aware of the errors i was about to have with the internet. after he changed the abs settings, was about the same time, i updated to the most recent version of this widget. my brother is going to look into the base station settings, so i'll let you know what happens. this is a wonderful widget, btw and without it, i wouldn't be able to play some LAN games. :)

@Cruciarius: Its probably showing "No IP Found" because you're not behined a router or you haven't selected the correct Network Interface to monitor. If you are behined a router, I don't know what the deal is and I will have to look into it. Thanks.

K2 seems to have broken Who's there. I'm getting undefined IP with a type of NaN.

Widget Gallery Search Tool Blues:
I don't know if its just me or what, but I have a lot of trouble searching for this widget using the WIdget Gallery Search Tool at http://www.widgetgallery.com/ . Bad index or something? When searching "Who's There" or "Whos there". I get zero results in Macintosh. Searching "Who" brings up this widget intermittently, searching "there" brought up this widget's entry every time. This occurs in Firefox and Safari and on multiple Macs.

nice!
I am being picky, but could we do away with @, and align the local IPs to the left? Any chance it could monitor local port connections?

Thx for a great widget!

Great widget. Very handy; very neat and small.

One suggestion: for those of us using dynamic IP addresses, it would be great to have an option to periodically check and update the External IP address every so many minutes.

The Font Selector does work, it just doesn't effect the Local IP or Remote IP. I'm gonna have to add it in the next update. Sry.

A fantastically useful gizmo! I'm regularly visiting client sites and connecting to their networks, so having a quick reference to IP addresses is great.

awesome.

one feature request though: dns. would it be possible to have it look up what the IP addresses resolve to? that would be *really* slick.

anyway, great widget, its now one of the few i leave on all the time

darkram, Sorry about the nslookup issue. It has been fixed for over a week now, but just hasn't been updated here. Please email me and I'll send it to you that way. Thx.

Nice widget! But lately for some reason I keep getting "Note: nslookup is deprecated and ...." when reporting my wireless IP address. Even with the latest version.

Excellent! It *could* be even better if you would allow changing color in the preferences. I'm using a white/beige sort of background.

Thanks

Love widgets that don't clutter my desktop. Can you decrease the linespacing? And where do I go for the online help? Thanks

Thanks for this Widget. I used to use Knockknock but it was too big, garish and silly looking. I like the simplicity of your approch. What I can't do with this is monitor connections when I'm in wireless mode. That would be a nice addition.

Very useful to me. I run a chess/chat server on an old G3 and this allows me to tell who's connected without logging in myself (even if the font is a little smallish for my eyes). It seems that if a non-Mac user joins, the port designation is in white, instead of red. Coincidence?

The numbers on the right signify which port your connected to.
