I find myself very impressed with this widget. If it were not for the fact that I am very satisfied with the Yahoo! widget engine's pre-installed "CPU Portal", this is definitely the CPU meter I'd be using! Good job!

I ABSOLUTELY Love the widgets that you made, but is there anyway that you could make one that would monitor a single hard drive of my choosing and one that would monitor a single IP address as well? Also, I'd love to see them in a uniformed square design. No matter what keep up the awsome work. Looking forward to seeing more widgets from you.

i hope you will read this and that you may think about coding one.

Gee. Thanks for all the low ratings guys. really nice of you. I know, it is completely my fault the entire XML parsing engine in konfabulator changed and broke this. right. whatever. The fix has been uploaded. But you know what? even if it were uploaded the day 2.1 went live (which I couldnt because uploads to the gallery was disabled), you still wouldnt see it till sunday, which is when the gallery gets updated.
On a happier note. All those people who were wanting a "Needle" style reaout, will have it in this next version. I tried adding in animations to make transitions smoother, but they were way too processor intensive.

Read people. Widget uploads are disabled. The Author is aware of the issue and has a fix ready to go, but as long as Konfab guys are lock down on konfab uploads theres no way to distribute the fix. REALLY bad idea to have the widget uploader broken during a big upgrade. Terrible idea... Some new users will definately become disinterested. *sigh*

I really dig this widget, but I've got an issue with it popping up a debug window when I resume from hibernation on my XP SP2 machine. Is this just a limitation of the way it calls data, or something more sinister at work on my machine?
Apart from that problem, which is easily resolvable (I just close the debug window) this one is a keeper.

They look great, but I've got one tiny beef, hence the 3 stars.
You should be able to control widget size by using a number (25-100?), NOT a slider, becuase right now it's REALLY hard to get several widgets from this series to be exactly the same size.

Vaxan: the cpu usage when updating every second is not something I cant do much about.. as it is, only the rotation of three images is being affected. I can't really trim it down any further. This is why the refresh was once every five seconds in the inital release. But people demanded a better refresh, so I gave it to them. Im seeing the same thing on a clock Im making that has a second hand. Im wondering if it might have something to do with the way k handles images and their opacity/rotation.

I downloaded version 1.1 of this widget, and functionally it's great to have it update once per second. Unfortunately (especially considering it's probably out of your control), if I set it to update once per second Konfabulator goes from about 0.3% CPU usage to 3%

good job... it would be great, but as has been said already, it NEEDS an option to set the refresh interval... a cpu monitor is almost useless when it only tells you the activity once every few seconds... if you can do this, along with add a memory monitor and drive space monitor, i think you've got yourself a winner of a series ;)

Tobin: the reason I dont add those, is that they work only on windows, and only on some versions.... If Konfabulator were to include that polling information, then I will certainly make a widget for them.

Pretty cool. Couple of comments...
- You said earlier in the thread that memory/disk usage wasn't possible yet. You might want to check out http://www.widgetgallery.com/view.php?widget=36511 and http://www.widgetgallery.com/view.php?widget=36512 for examples of widgets that do exactly that. - I've seen a slight bug where I'm at a lower usage (say 57%) and there are some of the red/yellow bars filled in at the far right of the gauge. It's not all the time, but I haven't been able to put a pattern to it either. I have a screenshot, if there's some way I can get it to you.
But regardless, great widget. Thanks!

deviantart.com is evil. don't go there.
btw, i figured out how to disable the shadow on my own, but an option still would be nice.

Ozzpot: Ricky Romero did the bezel for me. Im sure the similarities are just coincidental.

Ill add customizable refresh intervals to the next version.
Kenny: CPU temp, memory usage, and disk space are not current possible unde the current version of K. We'll see what is possible in K2.

Looks great and it's very useful. How about more for things like: CPU temp, memory usage and disk space? Probably even more. It's a cool widget!

The ability to change the refresh interval would be nice.
Justin - this whole line is great. I've got all three running - keep 'um coming!

Pretty awesome. The scalability factor is the best part... I would prefer if you could change the refresh interval though.
