Andrea Arevalo

The NASA Image Gallery Widget displays images from the NASA image library. It starts with the latest image of the day and then loads random images from the library.

The context menu allows the user to refresh the display, report problems, suggest enhancements and check for updates to the Widget.

Additional information and support for this Widget is available at http://www.andreaarevalo.com/widgets/

Version 1.02 fixes bug with Mac OS. Thanks to Harry (aka g7awz) for finding the bug.

Version 1.01 adds compatibility for Yahoo! Widgets v3.0

You can report problems and suggest enhancements through the links in the context menu (right click on the Widget).

Please wait for version 1.02 to be posted and give that a try. I think that'll solve the problem with the image not changing. I submitted the 1.02 update to Konfab last week but has not yet been posted.

The image won't change on my Mac and the "Report a problem" link on the right-click doesn't do anything. I have down loaded the NEW version twice, but they show V1.00-on 01-20-06. I am running Konfabulator 2.1.1, OSX 10.4.2

Just posted a new update (look for version 1.02) which should fix the problem with the image not changing on the Mac. Thanks to Harry for finding the bug.

Sadly the image won't change automatically or manually on my Mac and the "Report a problem" link on the right-click doesn't do anything. Shame, looks promising.

This widget is awesome! Unfortunately, it is failing to start after upgrading to Yahoo! Widgets 3.0. I get the following error:
---------------------------------------------------
Unable to load Widget 'NASA_Image_Gallery'.
This Widget has syntax errors.
(Error: <widget> must be top level tag in a Widget)
---------------------------------------------------
Please fix! I miss it...

Very nice. I second the previous comment that it does a great job of displaying new and interesting images. It is also nice that the preferences allow me to resize the image. Thank you.

Are there anny pictures of men on the "moon" with camera crosshairs behind them and multiple light sources? LOL :-) Or they removed those pictures from the archives allready?

Nice. Not really earth shattering but does do a wonderful job of displaying images I might not have found on my own.

Thanks!
