Superb widget! Please add options for no battery nib, custom label and font resizing.

Love these!

Any chance of a drive space meter to match the set?

I love this widget, and all the other meters you have made, they all work perfectly for me.
Id like to see a volume widget in the same style (not necisarily a control, just a meter).
keep up the good work man.

Hi Nick, no there isnt a limit, it really is just down to your cpu memory etc as to how many it will handle without being a total pain. I'm currently running 12 widgets. I think I'll leave them seperate for now but thanks for the suggestion :)

Hi Martin

Being new to this, this may be a dumb question, but is there alimit on number of active widgets.

If so would it be easy to move your 4 (Wifi cpu, mem, bat ) into 1 widget and reduce number of widgets?

Regards
Nick

It's great, but as the widget gets smaller the text gets more difficult to read (sounds dumb, but hear me out). Maybe you could make the font customizable? I think the italics makes it more difficult to read. Other than that, great job!

I love this! Would you mind making a similar version that monitors bandwidth/net usage?

All I can say, is nice job man. This is the best widget I have ever come across, I have the whole set actually. I like how it is small, and fits nice in a corner, I also like how the meter is displayed with the bubble things, nice touch. I do wish you had a meter in this style for net traffic though....

Yes, it really is much ado about nothing. Personally, I love this widget, even if it is shaped like a battery. It's small, unobtrusive, and looks nice. The only thing I might change is the ability to change the colors of the meter, not just the nib. But that's a small complaint. Overall, this is a good, useful widget, and if people don't like the shape...well, these aren't the droids you're looking for, move along.

jees! talk about making a mountain out of a molehill. for those of you who cant get your ahead around the graphic well just forget about this widget all together and move on, its just something to accompany the percentage read out. It was made in this style to stay in keeping with my other meter widgets.

K, its backwards. But, v1.1 could fix that easily.

Get over the form for the moment. Its a visual display of what resource remains, in this instance, memory. Take and use it or... leave it alone. Its that simple. Like, duh..!

Wrong Graphic

a Battery-Symbol for Memory??? ohhh Please, thats really Stupid

Harlequin - February 4, 2006
Yeah, I think it's backwards.

The other 2 widgets (CPU + battery) show what is used, not what is left. :)

I have all 3 on my TabletPC now. You should do one for wireless Strength as well.

Zathras, clearly you didnt bother to read the response to this question for the other widget. It is in keeping with the same style as the others....ever heard of the word continuity?

It represents the used memory.

Does the percentage represent whats remaining or whats used?

I've seen one like this before, and I'll ask the same question that I did on the other one.... If this is a memory guage, why is it in the form of a BATTERY?
