LOCKDOWN
Neal Bhasin

What're you lookin' at?

LOCKDOWN allows you to cover / lock your screen with an image at the press of a hotkey or button.

Features:
• CPU activity bar
• WiFi signal bar
• Minimizable search bar (Google Web, Google Images, A9, Ask, Dictionary, MSN Web, Wikipedia, Yahoo! Web, Yahoo! Widget Gallery, Windows Live)
• Extremely customizable
• Can be minimized into small plus sign with label

For more information, view the included Readme file by right-clicking on LOCKDOWN.

Important:
• Default Hotkey is CONTROL + SHIFT + F11
• As with all Widgets, LOCKDOWN can be force closed and should not be used to protect extremely important files.

It's not bad so far! If it can work with animation programs....(GIF..) will be perfected. The screen is at rest.

I found that it covers the screen well, but you can click and drag the image, so it become useless by anyone who discovers that.

Please remember that the default hotkey is cntrl-shift-f11 and it will turn the screen black unless you change the preferences.
If the widget interface cannot be seen, try accessing its preferences from the widget engine menu by right clicking on the icon in the bottom right of your screen. I was able to close the widget by cntrl clicking on its name in the list of active widgets in the right click menu of widget engine if that is usefull to anybody. If the widget looks or performs really weird, also remember that there is a restore default preferences button as well as a reload widget button in the right-click menu of the widget itself.

This widget is so useful, I have tried "Cover Me" But this one is more useful, especially when guests come to my house, Its nice to know that my computer is safe. I also like how it can minimize and not waste my space

Sorry!
I forgot to mention the default hotkey.
I have updated the widget info but for now, THE DEFAULT HOTKEY IS CONTROL + SHIFT + F11
Also, I have taken a look at Cover me! and it seems that it doesn't allow use of hotkeys and is buggy. LOCKDOWN also has a search bar and CPU and Wi-fi meters and is minimizable.
Once again, sorry for any inconvinience this might have caused.

Cover me! is a better widget for covering your screen with a screenshot of an image you take! i dont know how to work this widget either; my screen just goes black, and i cannot click on anything. i would recommend the Cover me! widget over this one.
